Five-process service suiteAdditive manufacturing support that works beside your current shop.
Ultimaker combines equipment planning, printed tooling, material selection, process documentation, and repeat-order support. The service model is intentionally consultative, because buying a printer or ordering fixtures without DFM review often leaves teams with a machine queue that does not match part geometry, surface needs, or inspection expectations.
Printed production aids
We produce jigs, gauges, soft jaws, nests, trim templates, and line-side organizers using application-appropriate polymers and composites. Each job can include orientation notes, support strategy, expected surface finish, and drawing references so repeat orders do not depend on memory.
Material and DfAM review
Engineers compare stiffness, heat, chemical exposure, wear, and color requirements against material families. When geometry is risky, we call out wall-thickness, rib, hole, and insert concerns before the quote is treated as final.
For customers evaluating 3D printers, we map build volume, nozzle configuration, software workflow, calibration load, and operator training to expected fixture demand. Recommendations include boundaries, not absolute promises.
Inspection and release packs
Programs can include FAI summaries, material certificates, dimensional samples, revision history, packaging notes, and lot identifiers. Cpk targets are documented only when the process and sample size make statistical claims meaningful.
